Course Description
This qualification reflects a position requiring a competent theoretical knowledge, managerial competency and a specialised and technical skill set. Each of these areas cover the entire process for specialist make-up services for the film, television and entertainment industry. An individual in this role would need to plan, carry out and evaluate work within a range of scales from and entire make-up department to individual freelance work. Although most candidates seeking this qualification are already highly proficient in general make-up and / or hairdressing skills, it is not a pre-requisite. Entry is open to candidates with no lower-level qualifications or beauty therapy course completion.
